Nichole's Skin Rejuvenation

Platelet Rich Plasma/Platelet Rich Fibrin

Understanding PRP and PRF

At Nicholes Skin Rejuvenation, we offer advanced regenerative treatments designed to support skin rejuvenation using your body’s own natural growth factors.

What is PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a treatment created using a small sample of your own blood. The blood is processed to concentrate the platelets, which contain natural growth factors that may assist in supporting skin rejuvenation and overall skin quality.

PRP is commonly used to help improve:

PRP is commonly used to help improve:
• Skin texture and tone
• The appearance of tired or dull skin
• Overall skin rejuvenation
• Hair restoration treatments

The concentrated plasma is carefully administered into targeted areas using advanced skin needling or injection techniques as part of a personalised treatment plan.

What is PRF?

Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is an advanced regenerative treatment that also uses your own blood but is processed differently to create a fibrin-rich matrix containing platelets, growth factors and white blood cells.
PRF releases growth factors more gradually over time and is often chosen for areas where a softer, natural approach to rejuvenation is desired.

PRF may be used to support:

• Skin rejuvenation
• Under-eye rejuvenation
• Overall skin quality and hydration
• Hair restoration treatments

PRF is carefully administered into targeted treatment areas using specialised injection techniques tailored to your treatment goals.
What is the Difference Between PRP and PRF?

While both treatments use your body’s own regenerative properties, PRF is processed without anticoagulants and forms a fibrin matrix that allows for a slower release of growth factors. PRP has a more liquid consistency, while PRF has a gel-like consistency.

During your consultation, a tailored treatment plan will be discussed to determine which option may be suitable for your individual goals. Treatment Recommendations
For optimal results, an initial course of 3 treatments spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart is commonly recommended, followed by maintenance treatments as advised during your consultation.
Important Information

All cosmetic treatments carry risks and individual results vary. A consultation is required to assess suitability and discuss potential risks, benefits and expected outcomes.
